Saltbox is relationship-first. The platform exists so those relationships have somewhere practical to live between gatherings: profiles, events, conversation, worship material, and member access.
Technology serving relationship.
The digital side of Saltbox is not the point of the network. The point is relationship, prayer, worship, shared wisdom, and practical help.
But relationships need places to live. If everything stays in separate inboxes, text threads, private chats, and memory, it becomes hard to know what is happening and who needs help.
The platform gives Saltbox a simple shared home so churches can stay connected between in-person moments.
What the first version is built around.

Participating churches can have a simple public profile, and the network can see who is involved, where churches are located, and how to learn more.
Events and gatherings
Churches can see shared events, gatherings, worship nights, training, and other moments that help the network come together.
Forum/chat
Members need a simple place to ask questions, share updates, follow up after gatherings, and keep conversation moving between churches.
Songs and chord charts
Shared songs, chord charts, and worship resources can help local worship expression travel between churches.
Member portal
Approved members and church leaders can access the private side of the network, participate in conversations, and use the tools available to their church.
What this could grow into.
We are starting small, but the long-term hope is to build tools that make relationship and collaboration easier without making the technology the center.
